Thesis deals with the clinical and pathogenetic role of insulin-like growth factor-1 in the mechanisms of progression of disorders of carbohydrate metabolism in patients with аrterial hypertension, which contributes to improving the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 2 in the early stages. Determined pathogenetic role of insulin-like growth factor-1 in the development of insulin resistance and dyslipidemia, glucose metabolism in patients with arterial hypertension. Proven communication insulin-like growth factor-1 levels in the blood and indicators of carbohydrate metabolism in patients with arterial hypertension and of course combined arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2. The role of index of insulin-like growth factor-1 in blood as a marker of risk for disorders of carbohydrate metabolism and the use of this parameter for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 2 including on the basis of gender identity. The highest level of insulin-like growth factor-1 observed in women with arterial hypertension and prediabetes signs that can be seen as a compensatory response in terms of primary disorders of carbohydrate metabolism. The presence of diabetes mellitus type 2 in patients with arterial hypertension is associated with a significant increased levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 compared with patients with isolated arterial hypertension, indicating that somatomedin role of insulin-like growth factor-1 in the development of metabolic disorders. Found that detect elevated levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 enables early on to establish the risk of progression disorders of carbohydrate metabolism in patients with arterial hypertension, which increases the efficiency of early diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 2. Patients with elevated insulin-like growth factor-1 (<143,9±4,92ng/mL) is recommended to refer to the risk of developing disorders of carbohydrate metabolism. Based on the evaluation of 29 major clinical and laboratory parameters built discriminant model for predicting flow characteristics of the combined arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2. Surveyed patients should be attributed to the predictive group of arterial hypertension or arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2, discriminant function value P which is for a particular patient will be greater. When examining patients with arterial hypertension recommended further determine the content of insulin-like growth factor-1 in the blood as a marker of disorders of carbohydrate metabolism and risk of diabetes mellitus type 2.
