The work is dedicated to a complex pharmacognostic study of biologically active substances of common tansy raw materials/ Based on the investigations conducted? a draft monograph to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine "Tansy Flowers" has been developed. Dry extract from tansy flowers "Holocetum" and liquid extract from herb "Tanahol" have been developed and standardized; their acute toxicity, hepatoprotective, choleretic and anti-microbial activity have been determined.
