The thesis is devoted to the complex pharmacognostic study of the leaves, seeds and roots of lettuce of «Lollo Rosso» variety, obtaining herbal remedies on its basis, quality control methods for herbal raw materials and the obtained herbal remedies development. Dry extract and tinctures of lettuce leaves were obtained. The projects of quality control methods for «Lettuce leaves», «Lettuce leaves dry extract», «Lettuce leaves tincture » were worked out. Membrane protective, antioxidant, antimicrobial activities of the obtained herbal remedies were determined.
