Essay

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of the style of parental behavior as a factor in the emergence and overcoming of chronic stress in adolescence. Based on theoretically identified criteria and generalization of the empirical results of the study, levels of development of chronic stress in adolescents (high, medium, low) were revealed, described and analyzed. It was ascertained that with age, the levels of chronic stress increase; also the girls have higher levels than the guys. Empirically proven statistically significant relationship between the level of chronic stress of adolescents and behavioral strategies of parents, in particular directive and hostile attitude on the part of both parents, autonomous (indifferent) attitude on the part of the father and inconsistency in the upbringing of the mother. The results of approbation of the psycho-correction model and the author's program "Psychological support of prevention and overcoming of chronic stress in adolescents" have shown its effectiveness, as evidenced by the dynamics of the level indices of psychological stress and stress of the adolescents of the experimental group before and after the forming experiment, which is confirmed by the results of statistical processing, analysis and interpretation of the obtained data.
