Filipenko O. Aesthetic functions of symbols in the works of Dokiya Humenna

Оbject: fairu-tale essau «Bless the Mother!» and the «Family Album», «The Last Tsuba», «The Heavenly Snake», «The Last Flies to the Future», «The Complaint to the Future», «The Children of the Milky Way» , «Khreshchaty Yar», «Gift of Evdothei», «Grandchildren of the Century Zaporozhye», «Among the Clouds», «Eternal Flames of Alberta», «Much Heaven» of D Humenna. Aim: is to carry out systematic and functional analysis of symbolic images in the work of Dokiy Humennoy, to reveal their semantic content, to outline the interconnection between traditional and authorial symbols. Рractical value: the results, conclusions and generalizations of the dissertation work can be used in studying the history of Ukraine, Ukrainian literature of the twentieth century, folklore, ethnography, art studies, writing textbooks on the theory and history of literature. Methods: historical-genetic, contextual, comparative, historical-literary, literary-critical methods and the hermeneutic approach.
