Srebniuk V. «Apokrysys» of Christophor Philaleth in polemical discourse at the end of ХVІth – beginning of ХVІIth centuries

Object: «Apokrysys» by Christophor Philaleth (an old-print edition) and also treatises «Synod Brzeski i Obrona Synodu Brzeskiego» by Petro Skarga and «Antyryzys» by Ipatiy Potiy. Aim: is to conduct a full analysis of artistic specificity of «Apokrysys» by Christophor Philaleth in the context of polemical discourse at the end of ХVІth – beginning of ХVІIth centuries. Practical value: The provisions of the dissertation can be used for further comprehensive study of Ukrainian polemical prose, writing and updating of textbooks, manuals, lecture courses, conducting special courses, special seminars. The materials of the dissertation will be useful for culturologists, philosophers, historians and religious scholars. Methods: cultural-historical, comparative-historical, typological, structural-functional, biographical, hermeneutic, rhetorical, intertextual, textological.
