Object: the use of crisis management economic instruments in the machine-building production enterprises. The purpose is research and development of theoretical, methodological and practical foundations for using crisis management economic instruments in the machine-building production enterprises. Research methods are generalization of scientific experience and terminological analysis, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, systematic approach, statistical data processing method, grouping method, comparison method, method of system analysis, coefficient method, rating method, method of comparison, and logical generalizations. Improved a methodological approach to assess the level of crisis machine building enterprises; a methodical approach to systemic crisis management in machine building enterprises; anti-crisis program as the primary economic tool for crisis management of engineering enterprises; methodological approach to forecasting use of the anti-crisis program at the machine building enterprises; got further development: the conceptual framework of concepts essence “enterprise crisis”, “crisis management economic instruments”, “the anti-recessionary program of the enterprise”, which is a complex theoretical basis of the studies on the use of crisis management economic instruments; grouping types of crisis and destabilizing factors impact on the activities of machine building enterprises, which are highlighted in international, national, industry factors and factors at the enterprise level; a theoretical approach to the understanding and use of the concept life cycle in the anti-crisis enterprise management, which takes into account the characteristics and problems at different stages of the life cycle.
