This thesis is devoted to the study of expressive syntax elements. Much attention is given to segmented constructions with nominative of theme and nominative of concept in poetic and journalese texts.The article touches upon the issue of the problems of expressive syntax, the constructions with NC and NT from functional-semantic, lexico-semantic, structural, stylistic, intonational points of view on the examples of poetic and journalese texts. The thought of some researchers is confirmed that nominative of theme and nominative of concept are dynamical constructions, common for poetic and journalese texts and largely used to reflect the most important questions of contemporaneity.
