Metolidi K. Functions of paratext and its forms in the novel "Krepost" by V. K. Kantor.

Object - the novel "Krepost" ("Fortress") by V. Kantor, the writer's philosophical works "Sudit Bozhyu tvar" ("Judging God's creature". Dostoievskyi's prophetic spirit: essays), "V poiskah lichnosti: opyt russkoy klassiki" ("In search of identity: the experience of Russian classics"), "Russkiy evropeets kak yavlenie kultury" ("Russian European as a phenomenon of culture (philosophical and historical analysis")), "Russkaya klassika, ili Byitie Rossii" ("Russian classics, or Genesis of Russia"); the purpose is to characterize the forms of the paratex and its function in the novel "Krepost" by V. Kantor; methods - multifaceted, comparative and typological, intertextual and motive analysis; novelty - first, the function and concrete forms of intertextuality in V. Kantor's novel "Krepost" have been analyzed, their typology has been proposed; the importace of paratextual elements has been determined; the epigraphs poetics and semantics of the titles have been comprehended; the features of the text in a text have been revealed, the genre originality of the novel and the role of the inserted elements in its architectonics have been characterized; the importance of V. Kantor's novel "Krepost" in the development of the modern Russian novel has been determined; results - the materials and conclusions of the dissertation can be used during the study of Russian literature of the XXth century in high school: in special courses and seminars devoted to the development of contemporary romantic prose and paratextual problems, as well as during the further studies of of V. Kantor's works; field - philology.
