Varenikova O. The collection "Shevchenko and His Days" (1925, 1926) in the context of the Shevchenko studies development in the period of the end of the XIXth - the 30-ies of the XXth century

Object - the articles of the collections "Shevchenko and His Days" of 1925-1926 years; the purpose is to investigate the materials included in the collections "Shevchenko and His Days" of 1925-1926 years in the context of the Shevchenko studies of the first third of the XXth century; methods - historical and genetic, historical and comparative, descriptive, comparative and typological, statistical, analytical; novelty - first, scientific information on the collections of "Shevchenko and His Days" in the context of the Shevchenko studies of the first third of the XXth century has been generalized and systematized; the heritage of the Shevchenko studies scholars of the first third of the XXth century has been considered in the context of their time and in comparison with the present state of the scientific thought; unstudied aspects of the dichotomies in the Shevchenko studies such as "rustic / peasant - intellectual", "evangelist - atheist", "rebellion - forgiveness", "artist - poet", "Ukrainian speaking - Russian speaking", "adoption of folk art - autochthonous", etc. have been investigated and revealed; results - the materials can be used by literary critics during the development of the scientific history of Ukrainian literature of the XXth century, by the teachers of philological faculties in the general course of the history of Ukrainian literature, as well as in special courses and special workshops devoted to the works of T. Shevchenko. The results of the study may be useful to the teachers of Ukrainian literature of high school during the preparation for elective classes and in the work of literary sociaties; field - philology.
