Bezsmertnyuk T. Tourist and Recreational Use of the Nature Reserve Fund of North-Western Ukraine

The thesis focuses on the theoretical and methodological bases of constructive and geographical investigation of tourist and recreational use of regional nature reserve fund. The essence of nature conservation and recreational management has been highlighted. The specific features of the process of tourist-recreational use of the nature reserve fund have been revealed.The recreational status of the nature reserve fund categories has been defined. The natural and anthropogenic tourist-recreational resources of North-Western Ukraine have been investigated. The current state of tourist and recreational use of regional national nature parks has been analyzed. The prospects and problems of tourist-recreational use of the North-Western Ukraine nature reserve fund are defined. The directions of balanced tourist- recreational use of regional nature reserve fund have been grounded. The optimization measures of spatial and functional structure of nature reserve fund territories and objects in the context of recreational nature management of North-Western Ukraine have been proposed. The directions of tourist-recreational use improvement of regional nature reserve fund have been worked out.
