The Thesis details the evolution concepts of citizens' rights to private property in the view of public administration science and institutional prerequisites for developing mechanisms for protection of citizens' rights to private property. The Thesis conveys the essence of the notion "mechanisms of public administration". It defines a set of mechanisms of public administration for protection rights of citizens to private property. The Thesis presents original definitions for notions such as "mechanisms of public administration for protection of citizens' rights to private property" and "institutional approach in protection of citizens' rights to private property". The Thesis provides analysis of the legal framework for protection of rights of citizens to private property. It examines political and legal prerequisites of rights of citizens to private property. It analyses expectations and awareness of citizens with regards to protection of private property in Ukraine. The Thesis determines institutional links in the field of citizens' rights to private property. It determines factors defining the efficient protection of citizens' rights to private property, which perfection or elimination will favor adequate protection of citizens' property in Ukraine. The Thesis demonstrates the effect of business culture on effective protection of rights of citizens to private property. It captures the core of the international public administration practice in the area of protection of citizens' rights to private property, which sets foundation for recommended practices suggested herein regarding advancements in the said field. Based on the research findings the Thesis offers recommendations for legislative and executive authorities.
