Essay

The theoretical substantiation of the possibilities of additional appointment to the standards of management of patients with mechanical jaundice on the background of gallstone disease of the hepatoprotector arginine glutamate and the capillary stabilizing, anti-edematous L-lysine escinate, which generally possess endothelial-protective properties, was provided. It was shown that the involvement of L-lysine escinate and arginine in preoperative infusion preparation of patients with gallstone disease, complicated with mechanical jaundice, prevents postoperative progression of liver dysfunction. Perioperative infusion therapy with the addition of L-lysine escinate and arginine glutamate exhibits an inhibitory effect on the processes of postoperative liver damage and contributes to the reduction of the severity of cytolytic and cholestatic syndromes, the restoration of pigmentary metabolism and detoxification of the liver.
