Ovcharuk V. Clinical and pathogenetic aspects of diagnostics and prevention of placental dysfunction

The research is dedicated to the reduction of the frequency of obstetric and perinatal pathology by optimizing screening, diagnosis and correction of placental dysfunction in pregnant women. The work is based on a prospective randomized trial of 80 pregnant women with placental dysfunction, 30 women with physiological course of pregnancy and a retrospective analysis of 1100 pregnant women with placental dysfunction. To achieve the goal, the etiological factors of origin have been studied and the influence of placental dysfunction on the peculiarities of the course of pregnancy, childbirth and the state of newborns in the period of their neonatal adaptation has been investigated. Also, the effect of fetoplacental perfusion on lipid peroxidation, oxidant system and intracellular structures has been analyzed. The ultrasound criteria for the early diagnosis of FGR at the first and second prenatal screening have been determined. Branch - medicine.
