The Thesis deals with the issue of acquiring the English language teacher trainees of learning strategic competence in the spoken interaction with the usage of the developed educational material. The concept of learning strategic competence in spoken interaction was defined as the ability and willingness of a language user to the perceived, effective and independent management of the communicative process that includes goal setting of a communicative task, self-control and self-assessment of a result, likewise the ability of a language user to compensate insufficiency of language knowledge in the process of interaction as well as speech and social experience in communication in English. The notion and structure of learning strategic competence in the English spoken interaction were described. The behavioural peculiarities of the formation of learning strategic competence in the English communication were analyzed. The content and the structure of instructions were characterised. On the basis of the defined criteria the analysis of English manuals for realization of learning strategic competence in the English spoken interaction has been made. The exercise requirements and the notion of Зexercises for the formation of learning strategic competence in the English spoken interactionИ have been distinguished and defined. Theoretical backgrounds have been used to create a subsystem of exercises for acquiring the English language teacher trainees of learning strategic competence in spoken interaction. The model of learning organization has been developed.The effectiveness of the developed methodology has been proved by the experimental teaching. Based on the results of the theoretical study and experimental teaching, the methodological recommendations for teaching the English language teacher trainees of learning strategic competence in the spoken interaction have been elaborated.
