Object - damage to the pancreas and the development of traumatic pancreatitis in polytrauma; goal – improve the results of treatment of victims with polytrauma with pancreatic damage and the development of posttraumatic pancreatitis by developing and applying an improved algorithm for providing medical care to victims with polytrauma using non-invasive and minimally invasive surgical technologies; methods – clinical, laboratory, instrumental, statistical; results – for the first time, the diagnostic criteria for the use of minimally invasive interventions in patients with polytrauma with pancreatic disease; for the first time, based on the results of the analysis of the indicators of the course of traumatic disease, predictors of the development of traumatic pancreatitis and the diagnostic criteria for its progression at more severe stages; on the basis of the data obtained, the expediency of applying a comprehensive assessment of blood and urine amylase and glycemia for the diagnosis of pancreatic injury and traumatic pancreatitis; the expediency and timing of the use of screening ultrasound and CT examination in patients with development of traumatic pancreatitis for the isolation of patients with a high risk of complication to a greater severity, with the aim of early application of minimally invasive interventions; scientifically grounded effectiveness of using minimally invasive interventions for the purpose of both diagnosing and treating pancreatic injury in polytrauma, through early decompression and drainage of fluid clusters to prevent the progression of traumatic pancreatitis in victims of polytrauma; the concept formulated in the work can be considered as an additional theoretical basis for the construction of differentiated programs for the prevention and treatment of pol-ytrauma with damage to the pancreas; branch – medicine.
