Essay

On the basis of archival and published sources political, economic and social conditions of functioning school were covered and shows their impact on history education in Soviet schools. It was investigated in what form the transfer of historical knowledge within the framework of complex programs during the 1920's was carried out and what the content of educational literature on history was. Showing exchange between historians and educators about the place of history in school, and traced changes in school policies on the verge of the 1920s - 1930s. The process and mechanisms for establishing Stalinism in history and its implications for history education. The reasons of ideological turn, carried Joseph Stalin and his entourage in the mid-1930s. Much attention is assigned to work on the books of history of the competition in 1936 for the best textbook history of the USSR and the formation during this new concept of national history.
