The dissertation substantiates the organizational and methodological support of non-auditing studies with powerlifting, aimed at the development of students' motor activity during studying at a higher educational establishment, and its elements are a projected model of motor activity development during the studies of the indicated content and the methodology for implementing this model in practical activities. The distinguishing features of the designed model from other existing ones are the step-by-step development of motor activity and differentiation at each stage: means, methods of training; direction of physical activity in the annual period; dosing loads for each class; types and content of control, self-control.
