In the dissertation the algorithm for programming developmental training on physical culture in the senior school, the pedagogical conditions of its realization and experimentally verified its effectiveness in solving the problems are substantiated. At the same time, the information obtained was supplemented with the following information: development of functional abilities, physical qualities and physical health, physical performance of boys with different somatotypes while studying in high school; the factors that determine the change in the physical preparedness of representatives of different somatotypes.
