Essay

In our dissertation we presented a theoretical and practical solution to such problems as improvement of the results of the use of endovascular laser coagulation in the treatment of patients with varicose disease of the lower extremities by preventing postoperative complications and postoperative recurrence of this pathology is given. The comparative characterization of the morphology of the venous wall with varicose disease of the lower extremities and the functional state of the endothelium of the superficial veins for determining the value of endothelial dysfunction in the occurrence of varicosity and its postoperative relapse have been carried out. The pathogenetic substantiation of the prediction of postoperative recurrence of varicose disease of the lower limbs according to the functional state of the endothelium of the superficial veins of the lower extremities is carried out and the effectiveness of the method of preventing postoperative recurrence of varicose disease is investigated. The method of mathematical modeling of laser irradiation density of the vein wall during the implementation of endovascular laser coagulation of veins and the velocity of laser beam in the lumen of varico-transformed vein is developed and implemented; a device for programmable velocity of evacuation of a laser light fiber during the execution of the endovascular laser coagulation.
