Object of research social relations, which are formed during the intermediary activity in the field of insurance; the aim is to justify new theoretical provisions for improving the economic and legal regulation of this activity; methods - general scientific and special; the scientific novelty lies in the completion of previously known and developing new provisions on this activity, the preparation of proposals for improving legislation; for the first time it is justified that the assistance organizations are insurance intermediaries, the development of an exemplary contract for the provision of insurance intermediary services and the application of penalties for violations of insurance intermediaries; the results are used in the educational process, recommended for use in practice
