The thesis deals with general theoretical and methodological provisions of criminal liability for improper fulfilment of professional duties by a medical or pharmaceutical worker. A sick person shall be treated as an unhealthy individual who has sought medical, pharmaceutical or healing care and/or due to helpless state, is not able to seek and/or use medical or pharmaceutical care, and a patient shall be referred to as any individual who has sought for medical, pharmaceutical or healing care regardless of the presence of the disease (diseases) or participates in the medical experiment.
