In order to reduce the incidence of complications and optimize approaches to prevent pregnancy in the postpartum period, 150 patients in the age from 19 to 44 years were examined based on comprehensive study of local immunity and vaginal microbiocenosis, functional status of ovaries and psycho-emotional state after physiological birth. Based on the results of a retrospective analysis, it was found that 28.6 % of the patients in the main group and 20.7 % of the patients in the control group had an abortion in anamnesis, and did not differ significantly. Among the gynecological diseases in the history of the patients in the main group, the inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs are predominant, which is significantly higher in comparison with women in the control group, and indicates a high infectious load: fungal colpitis (40 % and 8 %), chronic adnexitis in the history (12 % and 4 %). 10 % of the patients in main group and 12 % of the patients in control group had the history of bacterial vaginosis. Each fourth patient (19 % and 18 % respectively in the primary and control groups) had a pathology of cervix in the history. The confirmation of the presence of moderate hormonal disorders in examined patients is a violation of the menstrual cycle (8 % and 4 %), and the presence of leiomyoma of uterine body by 4 %, respectively. One determined a rather high frequency of vegetative-vascular dystonia - 25 % compared with the control group - 4 % among the somatic diseases of the examined patients in main group. Infectious weighed down anamnesis of chronic gastrointestinal tract diseases is 8 %, respectively, and the urinary system (3 % and 2 %).
