Essay

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of treatment efficiency of patients with angina based on the study of blood lipids profile, inflammatory markers and endothelial function in patients with unstable angina, as well as the study of changes in the liver biochemical parameters during treatment with statins and statins in combination with hepatoprotectors (alpha lipoic acid, L-ornithine-L-aspartate). The study involved 136 patients with unstable angina including 57 (42%) male and 79 (58%) female. The average age of patients was 65.6±0.96 years. The results of performed studies showed that there were a violation of lipid metabolism in patients with unstable angina, an increase in the level of inflammation (CRP, IL-1, IL-6, IL-17, TNF-alfa), as well as endothelial function disorders accompanied by an increase in ET-1 level. The proposed complex treatment in combination with hepatoprotectors contributed to the improving of blood lipid profile, CRP and cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, IL-17, TNF-alfa) levels reduction, enhancement of endothelial function. It is established that administration of statins is accompanied by a tendency to an increase of transaminases levels in patients with unstable angina pectoris. The use of hepatoprotectors in complex treatment of unstable angina pectoris contributes to an enhancement of the efficiency and safety of the long-term lipid-lowering therapy and adherence to the treatment.
