Dissertation proposes an improving cardiovascular risk assessment in hypertensive patients, which are based on the integrated evaluation of changes in parameters of pulse wave analysis and pulse wave velocity, determined by applanation tonometry and ventricular-arterial coupling in various categories of patients with arterial hypertension. The relevance of the purpose is due to the fact that hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases not only in Ukraine, but also all over the world, and, moreover, it is a significant modifiable cardiovascular risk factor.
