Shestopal I. Psychological characteristics of professional self-realization of mature-aged women

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and experimental research into psychological characteristics and factors of professional self-realization of mature-aged women. This paper presents an analysis of the leading research paradigms and approaches to the definition of such concepts as "self-realization" and "professional self-realization" of a personality. A systematic study of the phenomenon of professional self-realization is conducted; the structure of the phenomenon and its psychological characteristics and factors are defined and described. The research develops main psychological principles of professional self-realization of a personality as a psychological category on the level of a psychological construct, defines psychological mechanisms and strategies of professional self-realization, and describes the phenomenology. The age interval for sensitive development is determined. It was experimentally revealed that the process of professional self-realization of mature-aged women is characterized by a complex multifaceted structure and is strongly influenced by gender stereotypes. The necessity of the optimization program of professional self-realization of mature-aged women is highlighted; the effectiveness of this program is tested and proved.
