Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the conditions of the formation of the sanogenic thinking of student youth. The study analyzes the maiin approaches to the problem of the sanogenic thinking. The concepts of sanogenic and positive thinking are delimited as well as other similar terms of the concept. The features of the sanogenic thinking and other psychological factors influencing the sanogenic thinking of students are determined. The algorithm of deployment of the sanogenic thinking of students is proposed. The criteria for the formation of the sanogenic thinking are substantiated to the following: cognitive-reflexive, emotional, motivational, regulatory, somatic, and behavioral criteria. The model and corresponding program of formation of the sanogenic thinking of students are described. Psychological profiles of students with the sanogenic and pathogenic thinking are constructed. The psychological conditions for the formation of the sanogenic thinking of students are determined: 1) clarification and awareness of students' non-adaptive cognition; 2) development of reflexivity, especially flexibility in behaviour; 3) purposeful mastering of the skills of positive reaction to environmental stimuli, experience of joy, development of motivation for success; 4) purposeful mastering of the skills of self-regulation (perseverance and self-control); 5) development of neuro-psychological stability and resistance to stress (a stable level of adaptive resources and the ability to maintain a certain degree of psychological stability under stress conditions); 6) actualization of the mechanisms of imitation of the sanogeneous behavior of students. Practical recommendations for teachers, curators and psychologists concerning the formation of the sanogenic thinking of students in educational activities are also developed and systematizied.
