Essay

The object is complex sentences implementing the relation of identification in the Modern Ukrainian language; the aim is to determine the specificity of the relation of identification at the level of complex sentences of Modern Ukrainian according to their formal-syntactic, semantic and communicative organization and stylistic potential; methods used in the research are descriptive, structural-semantic analysis, component analysis, transformation, classification; the novelty of the research: using a significant factual material a comprehensive analysis of complex sentences with the relation of identification has been carried out on the formal-syntactic, semantic and communicative levels for the first time in Ukrainian linguistics; it has been defined and analyzed syntactic models expressing the speaker's intention to separate a certain object of reality; the markers of the relation of identification have been identified; it has been determined the specificity of expression of the relation of identification depending on the stylistic features of the text; the results of the research: the main positions and conclusions of the dissertation expand the information about the complex sentences with the relation of identification as a multilevel linguistic unit; the practical material, the main provisions and conclusions of the dissertation can be used to compile the manuals and the textbooks and to write methodological developments in the syntax of the Ukrainian language; the results of the study can be used as material to develop special courses and seminars on the syntax of both simple and complex sentences, syntax semantics and stylistics for students of philological faculties, as well as while preparing scientific research students; field - syntax, cognitive linguistics.
