The dissertation is dedicated to researching a topical problem of the development creative self-expression of prospective music teachers in the process of performing-instrumental training. In the scientific work the phenomenon of self-expression of personality is considered through the prism of the triad of scientific genesis "self-actualization" – "self-realization" – "self-expression". It is proved that the explored phenomenon is the process of own personality-professional potential and artistic-pedagogical experience realization, which occurs through the conscious expressive-intonational sound implementation of their own performance-instrumental concept. This process provides personal-professional self-affirmation, self-realization and self-creation. The components, criteria, indicators and levels of creative self-expression of prospective music teachers in the process of performing-instrumental training are determined. In the thesis, the methods of development creative self-expression of prospective music teachers in the process of artistic -performing training has been developed and experimentally tested.
