Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of treatment efficiency in women with pre-existing cervical diseases and co-existent benign ovarian tumors through the optimization of the diagnostic algorithm, a patient-specific approach to the selection of treatment and prevention strategies, individualization of therapeutic tactics considering the processes of hormonal imbalance, as well as the mechanisms of immunoreactivity at the local level. There have been determined risk factors for chronicity of the inflammatory process and the possibility of dysplastic lesion occurrence, a significant proportion of mixed infections and viral associations, secondary hormonal disorders and the activation of proinflammatory cytokines on the background of depression of sIg A, IL-1B and interferonogenesis. There have been proposed an optimized diagnostic algorithm and the program for the monitoring and phased treatment of patients which resulted in reduced number of recurrent cervical pathology.
