The relevance of the dissertation research is due to the systematic consideration of one of the most defining aspects of the preparation of future music teachers - personal and professional development in vocal training. The methodology of vocal training of future music teachers is developed and experimentally tested on the basis of the personality-oriented approach. The research identifies the structural components of personal and professional development in the vocal teaching of students: value-orientation cognitive, transformative, communicative. It is proved that the effectiveness of personal and professional development in vocal education is based on methodological approaches - person-oriented and competent, depends on the provision of appropriate pedagogical principles, conditions and methods of teaching. The organizational and methodological model of pedagogical leadership has been developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. vocal training of future music teachers on the basis of the personality-oriented approach, which was introduced at three stages of the research: information-activity, evaluation-analytical and performing-creative. The effectiveness of the method of vocal training of future music teachers on the basis of a personality-oriented approach was confirmed by a mathematical-statistical test.
