Kanenberg-Sandul O. Legal status of the German settlers in the south of Ukraine (in the end XVIII cent. – 1917th y.)

Thesis is a scientific research of historical and legal analysis of the legal status German settlers in the southern Ukrainian lands in the XVIII – early XX century.The analysis and characterization of key rights and freedoms, which in their content formed the basis of the privileged legal status of the settlers, was carried out. First of all, we are talking about economic, cultural, spiritual and political rights and freedoms, which were secured and guaranteed by the tsarist government. A study of the experience in the implementation of the rights of the German settlers in the Southern Ukraine and analyzes evolution the state policy in the matter of regulating the legal status of German colonists.
