Sidun O. Suggestiveness as a determinant of dependent forms of behavior in adolescence

In the dissertation research the theoretical and empirical analysis of suggestiveness as the determinants of dependent forms of behavior in adolescence is carried out. The thesis theoretically determines approaches to the research of suggestibility as a determinant of dependent forms of behavior in adolescence. Individually psychologic (personal) and social factors of high suggestibility are determined in this work. Criteria of suggestibility levels are distinguished. Suggestibility levels are shown (high, middle, low). Psychologic characteristics of suggestibility manifestation and its connection with individually psychologic peculiarities of teen-ages are defined (self-appraisal, anxiety, "I-conception"). Styles of family education as a social factor of suggestibility is investigated. Theoretical model of preventive measures and correction of suggestibility is given ground. Preventively corrective original program for personal suggestibility reduction is developed and tested: "Psychoprophylaxis and psycho-correction of young age suggestibility reduction" and its effectiveness is proved.
