Essay

The thesis is the first monographic study of the constitutional and legal status of the child and of the theoretical approaches' optimization, when it comes about this status and its normative regulation in Ukraine. The author takes into account the international juvenile legal standards. It is established that the elements of the constitutional and legal status of a child in Ukraine are the constitutional rights of the child, the child's civil status, the constitutional legal capacity of the child, the principles of the constitutional and legal status of the child and the guarantees of the constitutional rights of the child.
