Bondarenko A. Concept of Human Rights Protection Activity of Modern State

The thesis is devoted to elaboration of a general theoretical legal model of human rights protection activity of modern state through discovering its institutional grounds and contemporary tendencies of development. The problems of institutionalization of the human rights protection activity of modern state as well as its establishment as a state function are discussed. Author also delineates three main directions of realization of this function. The key tendencies of development of the function of human rights protection are dealt with. It is highlighted that the European court of human rights is the central international instrument for elaboration of a coherent vision of human rights, of taking them beyond cultural borders.
