Kholodniuk S. Historical and theoretical bases of reflection of socio-legal value of a person in modern law understanding

In the dissertation it is conducted the solid review of scientific literature, considered the theoretical and methodological basis, formation of awareness of socio-legal value of a person in Ukraine in the XI-XVIII centuries, reflection of the socio-legal value of a person in modern concepts of legal thinking.The analysis of socio-legal value of a person within the framework natural-legal, standard and sociological law understanding has given an opportunity to come to a conclusion that efforts of a scientific thought can't be limited to a research of socio-legal value of a person only on the specified types of legal thinking. It, in turn, has directed to identify the scientific search for the discovery of essence of socio-legal value of a person in the context of integration of valuable aspects of legal thinking which are caused by various forms of life of law and reflect requirements and the interests of a person, protecting values of absolute character - life, freedom, dignity, etc.
