Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of changes in the processes of lipoperoxidation, antioxidant system, proteolysis and antiprotozoal potential in the lungs and blood in the dynamics of development of bacterial keratitis under conditions of bronchial asthma and pneumonia before and after application of corvitin. The research was carried out on 118 guinea pigs (males). For the first time, participation in processes of lipoperoxidation and antiradical system, proteolysis and antiprotease potential in the mechanisms of formation of bacterial keratitis against the background of bronchial asthma and pneumonia has been proved. It has been shown for the first time that with bacterial keratitis under conditions of bronchial asthma and pneumonia, the gradual accumulation of peroxide oxidation products of lipids and the increase of proteolytic processes are observed against the background of decreasing the antioxidant system enzymes activity and depression of the antiproteinase potential in the blood and lungs with bacterial keratitis under conditions of bronchial asthma and pneumonia. The pronounced antioxidant effect of corvitin on the disturbed metabolic processes in bacterial keratitis under conditions of bronchial asthma and pneumonia has been proved.
