Essay

The research is devoted to examine the possibility of speculative grounding of subjectivity («I») and to clarify an epistemological meaning of speculative method in the context of modern discussions about paradoxes of self-grounding. The investigation is an attempt to answer the question: is objective knowledge a universal form of all knowledge, and further, based on the knowledge of object, can we know about knowledge? These issues are explored through the optics of speculative philosophy of G. Hegel. The main idea of the research is that relation between an object and knowledge does not imply an additional self-theming of knowledge (i.e. the relation of knowledge to itself as to the object), so this relationship is stay immediate. In turn, this idea is based on the need to describe knowledge as a pure ontological unity, that is self-relation of the object.
