Essay

The dissertation investigates ontological basis of practical normativity. The author shows practical value of metaphysics for understanding human intentions, acts and purposes. The author argues that neopragmatic interpretations of Good have the serious shortcomings due to attempts of neopragmatists to investigate philosophical and practical problems disregarding the ontological context of human practices. Heidegger's project of fundamental ontology also doesn't offer sufficient conceptual resources for solution of topical issues practical-and- philosophical discourse. On the one hand, Heidegger uses a language of the strong evaluations (distinguishing authentic and not authentic being of such an entity as Dasein), and, on the other hand, doesn't offer any rational reasons for such evaluations and for fundamental practical distinctions. The projects of transcendental pragmatics offered by Karl-Oto Apel and J?rgen Habermas are also insufficient for solution of many practical and philosophical questions of today.
