Korobkova H. Ecological standardization of surface water quality by the example of the Basin of the Siversky Donets River (within the Kharkiv region)

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of the methods of ecological standardization of the quality of surface waters of Ukraine and to the study of the environmental conditions of the catchment basin of the Siversky Donets River within the Kharkiv region. In the thesis for the first time, the algorithm for establishing environmental standards has been substantiated and the environmental standards for the quality of surface waters of the Siversky Donets River basin within the Kharkiv region have been determined, taking into account the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of the catchment basins of rivers and the state of aquatic ecosystems. Criteria have been developed for selecting points on water bodies for the first-time establishment of environmental standards. Proposed and justified use of macrophyte indices in the system of environmental rationing in Ukraine. The zoning of the territory of the Kharkov region was carried out, taking into account regional features of the formation of river flow.
