Popov V. Legal relationships in sphere of unimodal and multimodal cargo transportation.

The thesis is devoted to research relationships in sphere of unimodal and multimodal cargo transportation, to analysis civil legal contracts regulating such relationships and research the features of transshipment civil-legal service and legal basis of its providing. The author determines main stages of evolution of relationships in sphere of cargo transportation and its legal regulation. The elements of transportation relationships as well as legal nature of contract of unimodal and multimodal cargo transportation are analyzed. The author’s theoretical vision of contract system in sphere of unimodal and multimodal cargo transportation is proposed. Features of civil legal responsibility of transportation contract parts are determined. Legal nature of cargo transshipment as technological process and civil legal service are considered and legal bases for transshipment points activity is determined. The author specifies the relation between nodal agreement and contract of transshipment and determines their content.
