Yakubovska I. Peculiarities of the Course, Treatment and Prevention of Chronic Diseases of the Biliary System against the Background of Obesity

The dissertation focuses on improving the efficacy of treatment of patients with chronic diseases of the biliary system against the background of obesity by prescribing patient-specific diet, graduated exercise, taking into account composition analysis of the body, energotropic preparation L-Carnitin and ursodeoxycholic acid. According to the research results, in patients with chronic diseases of the biliary system against the background of obesity the changes in composition analysis of the body with decreasing correlation between the percentage of muscle and fatty tissue there are observed significant decrease in gallbladder contractile function, increase of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides in serum, reduced concentration and disturbance in carbohydrate metabolism – increasing insulin content in blood in fasting state and after glucose loading, reduction of the ratio of glucose/insulin, HOMA index advance. The developed therapeutic complex with the use of patient-specific diet with higher level of protein, significant reduction of carbohydrates, increasing physical activity by power and aerobic loads, use of L-Carnitin promotes positive dynamic of composition analysis of the body, improves functional state of gallbladder, normalizes lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.
