Object of research: the influence of processes of exploration and extraction of oil on the state of the environment and socio-economic development of oil-producing regions. The purpose of the study is to improve the theoretical positions and scientific and methodological approaches to the environmental and economic assessment of the environmental impact of oil exploration and production processes in the Niger delta region.
