Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of a method for obtaining optical image of inner structure of a controlled object (CO). The method is designed to improve aviation security services (ASS) and other industries’ entities performance related to the detection of hazardous objects. The analytical models for optical imaging of internal structures of CO with different shapes and complexity are elaborated. They enable to create a database of hazardous objects for further automation of their detection. The images of OC’ shadows are found using different types of primary radiation sources (point, linear, plane) and different mutual position of supervision circuit elements. The procedures proposed for detecting hazardous objects and based on image filtration and spectral conversion can be used in practice. The results of the thesis can be applied in the process of designing and modernizing ASS’ X-ray television introscopes and industrial X-ray equipment.
