Essay

The object is the poetic heritage of P. Antokolsky of the 1910s-1920s; the aim is to reveal the specificity of the poetic heritage of P. Antokolsky in the 1910s-1920s in the context of the poetry of post-symbolism; methods – descriptive and analytical, historical and genetic, comparative and typological, biographical, the method of intertextual analysis; novelty – the poetic heritage of P. Antokolsky of the 1910s-1920s has been described and conceptualized in the context of the poetry of post-symbolism for the first time. The poet’s recently published works of the 1910s-1920s have been analyzed, their place in his heritage has been determined; the periodization of P. Antokolsky's works taking into account the works entered into the scientific circulation has been specified; the thematic and poetic specificity of the early poetry of P. Antokolsky of the 1910s in the context of the Russian poetry of symbolism, futurism and acmeism has been revealed; the ways of assimilating the post-symbolist poetics in comparison with the works of other Russian poets of the 1920s by the poet have been outlined; the main topics and motives of the author’s poetry of the 1910s-1920s have been analyzed, the place of his heritage in the context of the Russian poetry of post-symbolism has been clarified; results – the materials can be used during the study of the history of the Russian literature of the first third of the XXth century in high school, during the preparation of elective disciplines devoted to the creation of P. Antokolsky, the poetry of the 1910s-1920s, while working on master's thesis researches and in the process of the further studying of the poet's creativity as well; field –philology.
