Grechin B. Approaches of Ecologistics to the Usage of Wood Biomass Power Potential

The dissertation highlights the role and peculiarities of ecologistics, defines premises of forming, main stages and prospects of its further development under the condition of business globalization, suggests definition of ecologistics core concepts and reveals the role of implementing ecologistics approaches as a part of modern business on the basis of fundamental principles of sustainable growth.There have been advances in the constituent parts of supply chain within the process of wood biomass harvesting and consumption and in evaluating efficiency of wood biomass usage potential with regard to national and foreign experience. The methodological approaches to establishing a framework of economic and ecological estimation of the wood biomass supply chain have been improved. It is aimed at calculating the expenses and estimating harmful emissions, which depend on the specific logistics processes connected with implementation of forward-looking measures for wood biomass harvesting and processing to replace non-renewable sources of energy. Thanks to the suggested framework and elaboration of a program product with the corresponding database, which includes information about the peculiarities of logistics processes, it will be possible to conduct economic and ecological estimation at every stage of the logistics chain, to present specific processes in money equivalent, to display ecological efficiency and identify the most «vulnerable spots» of the logistics system, and also to open wide opportunities to improve other supply systems.
