Essay

The formalization of the process of navigation as changing the navigation situation in time, indicated by the system of navigation information, is investigated in the work. The main concern among different aspects of the safety of navigation is paid to the method of locally independent control in cases of divergence of vessels which are dangerously come closer to each other. The thesis grounds the principle of spreading the number of goals surrounding the vessel into subordinate goals according to the degree of their possible collision danger. The principle of independent control by the process of vessels’ divergence, the vessels cooperation in condition of indignation situation and the system of coordinating their maneuvers, as well as the system of coordinating the actions in case of divergence of three vessels are investigated and worked out in the thesis. For the operative analysis of the degree of danger in the situation of vessels rapprochement the region with impermissible meanings of parameters of vessels’ movements and their graphic reflection are suggested. The procedure of choosing the maneuver of safety vessels’ divergence by changing the course of following is provided in the work. In cases of limited course-changing possibility the procedure of choosing the strategy of vessels’ divergence by changing their speed applying active or passive braking is analyzed and illustrated. The imitation design of the grounded method, which confirmed its correctness, is produced.
