Petrov P. Modernization of Political Institutions as a Factor in the Formation of the Image of Transitive Democracies

Object: it is the influence of modernization of political institutions on state image building. Research goal: an analysis of modernization of political institutions as a factor of image building of transitive democracies. Methods: principle of scientific validation, generalization method, symbolic interactionism, institutional approach, method of expert assessment, synergistic approach, rather-legal analysis and politico-legal method. It is revealed that the factors of image building of transitive democracies are different from the factors of image building of already developed, democratic states. It is proved that the modernization of political institutions is a fundamental factor of image building of transitive democracies. It is established that the image model must be the basis of image building for greater effectiveness. The components of the image of transitive democracies are defined in the context of the modernization of political institutions. It is researched the role of public opinion in image building of transitive democracies. The influence of the image of transitive democracies, which is formed under the influence of the modernization of political institutions within the framework of democratic principles (democratic image) on the implementation of the dohmestic and foreign policies, is analyzed. The influence of political reform on the democratic image building of Ukraine is investigated. Field of application: a formation of the image of different political institutions, an educational process.
