Khavrat O. The mechanism of counteraction to legal nihilism in the field of law enforcement activities of the National police of Ukraine (theoretical-legal aspect)

The object of research is social relations in the field of counteraction to the emergence of deformation of legal consciousness in the subjects of law enforcement. Subject of research is a theoretical and legal aspect of the mechanism of counteraction to the emergence of legal nihilism in the field of law enforcement activities of the National Police of Ukraine. In the dissertation, a number of provisions that are new in the conceptual plan and important for legal science are advanced and substantiated: for the first time: - the criterion of subjectivity in the classification of factors influencing the law enforcement activity of the police, which promote legal nihilism; - Specific reasons for the emergence of legal nihilism in the police, related to their professional status, have been established and analyzed; Improved: - the classification of factors leading to the emergence of legal nihilism in the activities of the police in the conditions of radical reforming changes and updating the law enforcement sphere of the state; - determination of the method of counteracting legal nihilism as a specific set of methods, techniques, principles, ideas, measures, knowledge and mechanisms, the use and implementation of which will allow to influence society in order to reduce the level of legal nihilism among the population; have further developed: - analysis of the material, educational, organizational and psychological support of the police as one of the main factors forming a favorable environment for the dissemination of the facts of manifestation of legal nihilism among the police; - the idea of ​​mechanisms to counteract the legal nihilism of the population as a whole and in the police in particular, characterized by systematic and complex activities of all state authorities, as well as by the efforts of the general population, certain social groups, and individual citizens.
