Essay

This research focuses on the linguocultural spesifics of verbalization the concept SCHÖNHEIT by means of lexical and phraseological units. Concept SCHÖNHEIT is realized as the knowledge of German linguoculture about beauty, for which a positive aesthetic evaluation is leading. Lexical and phraseological means of verbalization of concept SCHÖNHEIT make it possible to reveal the peculiarities of a naive, typical understanding of beauty and to disclose the specifics of the conceptualization of beauty by representatives of German linguoculture, to define national stereotypes, to follow the history, culture and mentality of the people in the context of understanding of beauty. This is because the lexical meaning is culturally specific and includes national associations related with certain words that are unique in each language. The phraseological units, representing the concept, reflect the value component, and cultural information. It can be distinguished from the internal form of phraseologisms, which bear traces of culture (myths, archetypes, customs, traditions, etc.), reflect historical events and elements of material culture. The large number of nominations of the concept indicates the nominative density of this concept. Multilateral notation get those subjects, processes and phenomena in the language, which are the most valuable for this culture. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the frequency of the verbalization of a particular conceptual feature. It is expressed by the number of using of the corresponding representatives of the concept. It can be assumed that the more frequent a certain feature of the concept is verbalized, the higher its communicative demand is and thus, the more significant this feature for people is. Key words: concept, linguoculture, positive aesthetic evaluation, lexical-semantic field, word-building field, phraseological unit, paroemia.
